Sales Workshop Content

Whether you work in the area of sales or customer satisfaction, there are times when you wish you had a stronger nervous system. To cure a bad case of customer avoidance, reduce jitters before an important meeting, relieve insomnia over competitive pressures, or prevent burnout over sales quotas, you need effective and fast-acting technology to relieve stress -- and make that half-empty glass look at least half-full. The Invincible Salesperson gives you the personal tools to excel, in form of Kundalini Yoga exercises and meditations.

The Invincible Salesperson training includes five hours of in-person instruction over a period of six weeks. The first two-hour workshop is a group experience to learn and practice many simple and effective techniques for relieving mental, emotional and physical stress.

During the first hour of The Invincible Salesperson group workshop, you will learn simple but effective yoga techniques for relaxing at will, energizing when you need to, and managing stress during critical moments in the sales process. You will practice meditation that releases fears and negative emotions from the sales process, and learn how to manage and elevate yourself on a daily basis.

We recommend you bring your significant other to the workshop because during the second hour of the workshop, you will experience what it is like to be really relaxed. You will learn and reciprocate giving each other a half-hour anti-stress yogic massage (if you participate by yourself, you can pair up with another attendee). Ten to fifteen treatments of this massage can render a normal person free of stress, so this workshop has the potential to be a memorable and life-changing experience.

After the initial workshop, each program participant receives private consultation and instruction to meet their unique individual needs in weekly sessions for the next six weeks.

Your Instructor

The Invincible Salesperson instructor is Darshan Singh Khalsa, a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, consultant and author with thirty-one years yoga teaching experience and more than two decades experience as a salesperson and sales trainer.

Khalsa is the founder and President of Transition Stress Management, Inc., an New Mexico corporation founded to develop an international stress management services delivery network that can effectively meet the requirements of organizations around the world.

Khalsa provided management leadership in a fast-paced corporate environment for more than twenty years as one of the first employees of a Fortune 500 computer company. During that time, he developed methods and selling tools for computer salespeople to sell value-added products and services to small business, medium and large corporate accounts. He trained thousands of salespeople, support staff and managers in North America, Europe and Japan to standardize how complete solutions were marketed, presented and delivered to clients in diverse industries.

For the last decade, he has provided consulting services such as strategic planning, team building and problem solving, project management, business process re-engineering, and internet electronic commerce development for some of the world's largest corporations, including Carlson Companies, Citibank, Halliburton, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Kodak, MicroAge, Phillips Petroleum, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Southwestern Bell and Wells Fargo Bank.

Khalsa developed the Balanced Group Thinking service out of his corporate consulting and yogic experience, and applied for a U.S. patent on the process. He is an internationally certified Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher with thirty-one years teaching experience under the direction of Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga. Khalsa is a registered professional member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association and the International Yoga Association, and is a master storyboarder. He received the Storyboarder of the Year Award in 2001.

Each participant in this program receives Khalsa's book Yoga Secrets for Business Success, a full-color illustrated 211-page trade paperback that explains proven stress management techniques for the business environment.

Everyone knows that yoga can lower blood pressure and strengthen muscles. Here is the first book to show how it can also bring success to any aspiring businessperson. Darshan Khalsa spent over twenty years working in Fortune 500 companies, learning along the way that he and his colleagues needed better coping mechanisms to meet head-on the daily challenges of high-pressure work, even while improving their productivity. What Is Yoga
